Just north of Greymouth, along the great coast road, there is a a hidden gem of a beach. Motukeikei beach is becoming a hot spot for photographers, at low tide the sea reveals a galaxy of Starfish clinging to the rocks. A warning to anyone wanting to capture these strange creatures, make sure you keep an eye on the tide! This image was the last image I took before realising the rocks I had hopped on to get this far out, were gone. Needless to say, me and my camera went for a swim. ’Stars in a Storm’ turned out to be a very expensive image to create.
